Overview

Café De Leila was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of Aligarh's remembered café culture. The name itself draws from Alif Laila a place associated with poetry, conversation, literature, and evening gatherings that remains part of the city's collective memory. Reimagined for a new generation, the identity translated this cultural reference into a refined hospitality experience. Drawing from European café insignias and vintage hospitality emblems, the visual language combined ornate detailing, classical typography, and a warm, understated palette to create a distinctive and recognizable presence.

“Magical Delight”

More than a tagline, Magical Delight became the central idea behind the brand. It positioned dining as an experience shaped by atmosphere, occasion, and discovery, informing both communication and space.

The identity was applied across communication, dining collateral, packaging, and the built environment. Editorial layouts and restrained detailing established a distinct character, while glasshouse-inspired architecture, warm lighting, layered greenery, and carefully selected materials translated the brand into an immersive hospitality experience.
